When you are setting up your hydroponic grow light system, be sure not to set it to close to cause burning of the plants, but close enough to provide the type of lighting needed for optimal growth. Light shades should be used to focus the light correctly, and reflective materials should also be placed on the walls and other surfaces to prevent the waste of light by it being absorbed by these surfaces.
